Food Allergies and Illnesses

Dietary Forms for Meal Modifications should be completed by a licensed medical authority and then returned to the nursing staff at your student's school.  The form will be forwarded to the School Nutrition Program.  This process will take about a week or more to be implemented and to appear in student records.  The safest meal for dietary modifications is always one prepared at home.

Questions or comments about dietary accomodations should be addressed to the Director of School Nutrition at 865.457.7560.

Dietary modifications can only be made for food allergies documented by a licensed medical authority.

Anderson County Schools does the best job possible to publish correct and complete allergen information and nutritional analysis data.  While safety is a top priority, the chance of error is always present and could endanger adults or student who eat our cafeteria foods.
