2026 Flu Vaccine Clinic Information
Dear Parent/Guardian:
It is time for our Annual Flu Clinics. In partnership with Walgreens Pharmacy, Anderson County
Schools will offer influenza (flu) vaccines throughout the School District again this year.
No student will be vaccinated without a completed and signed consent form. The consent form is
available on skyward in the family access portal as well as the district website (www.acs.ac). If
you choose to complete a paper consent form, it is available through your child's school or by
printing off a copy from the ACS website. You must fill out the form completely, sign it and
submit online through skyward or return a signed paper copy to your child's School Nurse.
You must complete the insurance section of the consent form to receive a flu shot:
• Students with insurance must complete the insurance information for the pharmacy to
bill insurance, which is essential for maintaining this program.
• Students with no insurance please note no insurance on the consent.
Please note:
• There is no cost to you for your child to receive the flu shot
• You will not be billed
• You will not have a co-pay
A copy of the Influenza (flu) Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS) is also available to address
questions or concerns you may have regarding this year's flu vaccine. If you have specific
medical question, we encourage you to reach out to your student's medical provider for guidance.
Information about the 2026 Flu Clinics will be posted on the Anderson County District website
and social media. If you have questions, please contact Nursing Services at (865) 463-8671 or

Please consider having your child receive a flu shot at his/her school, local pharmacy, or at your
