Parents

Welcome Parents to Anderson County Schools

Anderson County Schools has long been recognized as a great school system focused on the success of every student. This is evident in both our Vision and our Mission:

Anderson County will exemplify excellence and equity such that upon graduation all students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to successfully embark upon their chosen path in life.

In Anderson County we will Develop, Challenge, and Support every student every day.

Our students perform extremely well both in and out of the classroom. Our parents are engaged in the learning process and our business and civic communities actively support schools. In short, Anderson County is a great place to live and raise a family.

While we are proud of our success, we still have work to do to ensure all of our students have the skills needed to meet the demands of an ever-changing world. This is why our five-year strategic plan focuses on four core areas:

As your Director of Schools, I commit to the students, parents, and the community that I will make sure we keep students at the center of all decisions. I look forward to a great school year.

Sincerely,
Dr. Tim Parrott

PANDEMIC EBT CARDS

If you have heard the good news about Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer cards (P-EBT) please see the info below. This program is administered by the TN Department of Human Services, not Anderson County Schools. Your student's school will not have access to this data, so you will have to visit the following:

A dedicated P-EBT Parent hotline - (833) 496-0661

Website with P-EBT details and FAQs - https://www.tn.gov/humanservices/covid-19/p-ebt-and-covid-19-faqs.html

P-EBT Parent Portal - https://tdhs.service-now.com/relief

Only students who are virtual learners will receive Round 3 benefits.

Card loads for March will occur June 20-27

Card loads for April and May will occur July 20-27

The Summer Pandemic benefits will be paid in August or September.  All students enrolled in May of 2021 in CEP schools plus all students with a free or reduced meal status in ACHS, CHS, NMS, and NES schools in May will receive a one time benefit of $375 on the existing pandemic card or a new card if they never received an initial Round 3 card.
