Schools provide an ideal context for mental health prevention, intervention and positive development. Schools are often the only environment where children are able to receive mental health services.  Access to mental health services in schools is integral to improving the safety of Anderson County students and schools. ACS partners with families in order to meet these student needs by providing mental health supports through School Counselors, Social Workers, and Therapists. The ACS mental health team works in tandem with families to help remove potential barriers to success and improve mental wellbeing in order to reach their fullest potential.
