CLINTON, TN – Anderson County Schools is proud to announce that Norwood Elementary School has been officially recognized as a Tennessee STEM Designated School by the Tennessee Department of Education. This prestigious honor was awarded during the department’s annual awards ceremony, recognizing Norwood Elementary’s excellence in delivering high-quality, integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
With this designation, Norwood Elementary joins an elite group of schools across the state that model best practices in project-based learning and cross-curricular innovation. The school’s efforts reflect a commitment to fostering a dynamic, student-centered learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.
