ACS educators amongst finalists for Tennessee Principal, Supervisor of the Year awards (WVLT)

CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Department of Education announced the finalists for the 2025-2026 Tennessee Principal and Supervisor of the Year awards on Wednesday and that list includes two from Anderson County.

According to TDOE, Jessica Conaster, from Grand Oaks Elementary School is a finalist for Principal of the Year and Paula Sellers, the director of Student Services at Anderson County Schools, is a finalist for Supervisor of the Year.

TDOE says to qualify for the awards, candidates must implement innovative programs while also managing and motivating students and other staff members. They also must have a minimum of three years experience as an administrator and five years of experience in Tennessee public schools.
